Adaptive Yoga for Wellness (300 hr training for 200 hour registered teachers)
Halfmoon Yoga's 300 hour class (for current 200 hour teachers) in Adaptive Yoga for Wellness gets underway March 5, 2016 and will continue one weekend/month for 18 months. Join us if you want to deepen your practice, join Yoga Alliance as a registered teacher, continue to hone your teaching skills or to learn the fundamentals of adaptive, individualized yoga for special situations. Learn asana technique and theory, anatomy (both subtle anatomy and western anatomy), fundamentals of ayurveda, fundamentals of working with individual clients, adapting for special populations, pranayama, meditation, the bandhas, yogic philosophy and ethics, the history of yoga, the business of yoga (including legal and marketing issues) and more. Ongoing mentoring and support - through your training and afterward. Classes will be held one weekend per month at Halfmoon Yoga's Tallahassee studio – Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30AM – 5:30PM.
